Supervisors of employees requesting permissions for the first time will be contacted to arrange the date and time for their employee to be trained.
1. Employee with Current Permissions: use this form to send a request to Information Technology to receive updated permissions to CivicEngage (changed departments, additional access needed, etc.)
2. This form will alert IT that you are requesting new permissions to CivicEngage. Training & Development will then contact your supervisor to determine if the Branch Point of Contact will provide training or the Training & Development Training Specialists will provide individual or small group department training, based on need. Your access to CivicEngage will continue contingent on verification of completed training. Training will include an emphasis on ADA compliance.
Complete a separate form for each employee that needs permissions.

When asking for additional permissions, indicate the date of CivicEngage training as listed in Employee Self Service.
The supervisor will be contacted by Training & Development to determine the best training to meet the needs of the department, Branch Point of Contact or Training Specialists.
If you have not completed the training in the past 12 months, use the link to access the course. If you completed IT Security Awareness but not yet viewed the 6 minute PII video (new on 6/15/18) use the link to watch the PII video. No further action is needed. Take the full course and test after 12 months of the initial completion.
List modules by name (ex: Senior Services public Calendar) or pages by number, if known, if you need access to a specific part of the site.

If employee is changing departments, note the new department and the prior department.
Training and Development will contact the supervisor to discuss training needs. T & D will coordinate with IT for permissions to be granted shortly before the training date. Employee will be notified and should check logon the day before training. If there is an issue, the employee should email email@example.com. Access will continue contingent on the employee's completion of the training. Thank you!
Check the Site Standards page to learn how to create a password AFTER permissions are granted. You will not be able to work on the Public site until you establish a password. A PASSWORD WILL NOT BE SENT TO YOU BY THE IT DEPARTMENT. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CREATE YOUR PASSWORD. You will be unable to participate in the training until you create and verify your password. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.
Information Technology - Forward approved applications to the Training & Development Manager for further action.
